WHO DO WE SERVE?

Our name, "Texoma Community Credit Union" identifies who may join the credit union. All persons who live or work in the Texoma community, which is Wichita County and the surrounding counties are eligible for membership in the Credit Union. These include:

HOW WE ARE ORGANIZED

Texoma Community Credit Union is a democratically controlled financial cooperative. This means you become an owner of the credit union when you become a member and begin using the services. All of our employees work for you--the owner. If you owned a grocery store, you would buy your eggs, milk, and bread from your own grocery store. Since you own the credit union, you will want to buy your financial products from your own financial institution.

We are a financial cooperative that is "not-for-profit, not-for-charity, but for service." We are not a bank. All income, after expenses and necessary reserves, is given back to our members in the form of lower fees, lower loan rates and higher deposit rates. In our fast-paced, competitive economy, adequate reserves are essential for improving the safety and soundness of your credit union. We take this responsibility you have entrusted to us very seriously!

You, our member-owners, elect a volunteer board of directors from among yourselves to direct the business of the credit union.
